Hi, this is Kaidan -- er, Kaidan Alenko. I'm sure you've been given the information by now. I'm... your new probation officer?

Ah. Yes. I'm to check in with you daily. [ Emphasis on the important thing here. ]

Rest assured, I do know how to keep to a schedule.

Yeah, they told me your other name.

[ He thinks it's silly, but you know. ]

There are other things, too. I want to help you on the path to rehabilitation, but I'll admit, it's not an easy one. I'd rather you... talk, if you think something might be a good or bad idea. Maybe we can figure out a way to help you resist any... urges toward causing problems.

[ Kaidan sounds like one of Julian's doctors. One of the naive ones. But if there's anything Julian's learned, it's how to take advantage of quote-unquote "good behaviour".

Because clearly he can accomplish that, right? ]

It's so kind of you to volunteer to help a fellow import like this. [ Though it doesn't sound quite sincere. ] Have you done this sort of work before?

Er -- right. I guess that's fair. I've been a probation officer for another import before -- successfully reformed, for the most part. He's still an ass, though, but I can't work miracles.

[ Kaidan's butthurt for people named Dorian will continue on for forever. ]

Before coming here I was a marine. I'm pretty good at this Law Enforcement thing, but I'm hoping we can work together to find something that works for you.

[ Kaidan. No. ]

[ Evidently not a superhero, Julian assumes. But a similar type. He talks soft, but can probably take a fight. He'll need to be careful, if he pushes his boundaries. ]

As long as I can keep my calendars, I'm sure we'll get along well.

[ His tone is pleasant, but he's not going to budge on this point. Some of his doctors had tried to separate him from accessing a form of calendar; nothing irks him more. ]
