[ So attached to this post is a drawing of thirteen different men. Each of the drawings are...kind of crude, but recognizable. Turns out this Doctor can play guitar, but can't draw all that well. ]
Original Doctor: usually old, usually grumpy, forgetful. Recorder: short, silly haircut, plays the recorder, "oh my giddy aunt" Dandy: FRILLS, puffy gray hair, stuck on Earth for a while, scarecrow, bit stuck up. Bigeyes Longscarf: what it says in the name, worryingly likes jelly babies. Beige: cricketer, blonde, kind of generically nice? Dreamcoat: absolutely grumpy, speaks like he swallowed a thesaurus, terribly sorry if you have to deal with him. Scottish But Tiny: usually carries an umbrella, Scottish, small, rrrrrolls his r's. Amnesiac: very pretty, more gentle than others, he's the one who you ran into before. Granddad: more than anything, he's a bit sad. If there's a Doctor who doesn't want to be called the Doctor, it's him. Up North: leather jacket, Northern accent, fantastic. I think I might like this one the most. Sandshoes: too excitable, tendency to lick things, hair like you stuck a fork in a socket. Bowtie No Eyebrows: he thinks bowties are cool, terrible taste in food, acts ridiculously immature.
[ Oh this is delightful. Julian's going to write this all down, on paper (he likes the tactile feel, alright), possibly editing it a little, and put it on his wall. His Trollwall is so sparse, but now he could have a DoctorWall. He'll figure out a way to print the image, though. ]
I truly do appreciate this.
I didn't realize the ages would be inconsistent with the order. [ He had thought Amnesiac was younger because he was... younger. ] Are they any noticeable patterns?
You'll forgive me if I'm not eagerly awaiting to see what your next regeneration is. [ Not... wanting someone to die? even if they can come back?? that almost sounds like AFFECTION
[ That is so sweet and something that the Doctor wasn't expecting in the slightest. So naturally, because Calendar Man is Calendar Man, the Doctor's just going to file that moment of affection away and return to being eccentric at him. ]
I'm not eagerly awaiting either. I like this body, it's angry and Scottish and picks up guitar well.
[ And ten minutes or so later the camera clicks onto video. The Doctor's wearing the sonic sunglasses and holding his guitar. ]
Right, I got the sonic sunglasses to transcribe the music—aren't you glad I installed a sort of play by ear function? It's got an approximation of the song, but an approximation might be enough. Really, I'm a lot better at more of a punk vibe or 1970s Earth music. Still, might as well give it a shot!
[ And the Doctor plays a halfway decent approximation of the first minute or so of the song. ]
There's food and fireworks, [ the Doctor responds, with a simply shrug. ] Besides, it's easier to mess that up than it is to mess up the Queen's birthday or the Summer Solstice.

Parades include events like picnics, you know. If you mess up the Fourth of July, I'll be very put out.
